Lakme 9 to 5 Lip Color – Red Chaos

Another Lakme lippy from the 15 new ones they have released, I am so thrilled to share the reveiws on these  becuase of the colors they have come out with, see this one named red chaos but is an out and out peachy nude, now how can you say no to this pretty color, meanwhile have you seen the other two shades in PInk bureau and Scarlett drill?

I think they are improvisation on the earlier nine to five which were little dry and sticky too, but these are matte, buttery, pigmented, set but softly, not really into a rough dry feel, they are feather light like not wearing a lip color at all and these are packaged a little rounder this time and have this pretty graphic “9 to 5″ come in a box pack and the shades, oh la la!

The shade is a very light peachy nude, it is not red like it is named, you can even say this is lighter than Scarlett drill and may be on the same lines. I love the shade it is creamy and not delicate that it would break, the texture is feather light, its like wearing no lipstick at all, but honestly i think the pigmentation could be better, I know its a nude shade but I need to swipe it thrice to show up, so may be pigmented lips might not find it best for them.

The color is matte but not dry or cakey, it has no shimmer and it does not have a creme finish but light matte one, the best past is that it has no shimmer or frost or glaze.

The staying power is NOT 9 to 5, this color stays on about 2-3 hours with light meals and may be 3 plus without meals, but the color is very light, you really need to layer it on, to show kind of peach to it.

This one is lighter in shade and texture and honestly it feels so light, I did not find it dry too. This could be a great shade for day wear, college, office, and makes for a very nice peachy nude.

The first thing I would say is that this is the one of the best products I have come across. I am glad I bought this one and it really transformed my hair. This is from the brand “Schwarzkopf” from the repair rescue range. The caption  “sealed ends” made me to buy this product. I have been facing this split ends problems for years because of daily damage, rebonding and hair colour. The ends of my hair always look like broom hair and the only option is to chop them off and trust me I don’t like that at all. So this is when the product became my best friend. So let’s see how it worked for me.

My experience with Schwarzkopf Bonacure Repair Rescue Sealed Ends:

I have been facing split ends since many years and I have tried all different kinds of products for split end rescue. But all were a failure, they made my hair smooth for a while and then my hair came back to its original state. Then one day I came across this product, I had tried many so I was like I should give this one a chance too. This product comes in a white plastic tube with a red band with all the details and the name written on it. The packaging is indeed very salon-type. The top is a flip-open one in white too and it is very convenient , no issues at all. The only problem is that the tube is not even a little transparent, so you cannot exactly see how much amount of the product is left. It is exactly the size of our palm. A very little pea-sized amount is needed to be applied, if you apply more then the hair will look a little greasy. I normally apply it when I go to sleep from the middle portion of my hair to the ends and then braid my hair.

The texture of the product is very smooth and is moderately thick and comes in a white colour. The smell is amazing and it is kind of a smell which I really don’t know how to describe because it does not have floral or fruity notes like the perfumes lol. I have been using this product sine over a month now and it has done wonders for my damaged ends. It works exactly like a leave-in conditioner. If you apply it and move out of the house, it will help you protect your hair against pollution and you will be back with the same kind of hair that you had when you left home. When I wash my hair the very next day, the ends are very smooth and soft and no feeling of damage when I touch them. This works to mend split endd, rather than to chop the hair off . Now my hair look very healthy from the ends as well and I think my hair have recovered very well from the damage. Yesterday , I forgot to apply this and when I got my ends looked a little rough that is because they were getting rubbed against the pillow cover,but when I apply it overnight, my hair look better immediately in the morning. I am in unconditional love with this product and will keep on purchasing it as soon as it gets over.

-Hair might feel a little greasy if too much product is applied but after an hour or so. the hair will absorb it and the greasiness will go away.

Will I repurchase / recommend Schwarzkopf Bonacure Repair Rescue Sealed Ends ?

I will definitely purchase this product till the time I have hair on my head as it did wonders to my hair. I will surely recommend it to all the beauties having damaged hair due to treatments or even daily heat and pollution, do give this one a try and you will keep on repurchasing this one. I will now try the entire repair rescue range.

My experience with Organic Surge Blonde Boost Shampoo:

I am of course not a blonde but I picked this one as this contains lime essential oils and vitamin E. These are known to brighten up dull hair and provide nourishment. Together they would clean the hair whilst hair isn’t over dried.
So this comes in a transparent tube packaging with a flip top. I feel the packaging is excellent. Tube is the most convenient form of packaging especially when you want to keep things in your shower and because it is transparent you know how much you have used up.
The consistency is like a regular shampoo and it is white in colour. I love how it smells. It smells really clean with a hint of fresh lemons, which I find absolutely refreshing. It lathers up really well in the shower and you need a moderate amount to work into your hair. It leaves hair feeling really clean and does not leave it all puffy and dry. It cleanses the scalp really well. Because it contains lime essential oil, it should also help people with mild dandruff and itchy scalp.

Whenever I have itchy scalp during warm humid days, I prefer using this shampoo as this really refreshes the whole experience. Overall I will give this a thumbs up as very good organic shampoo which lathers wonderfully and cleanses hair really good without over drying your hair.

We always want to see our lips maintained properly and keep it safe from chapping and drying.  In this process, we end up getting various lip balms that we think would help us to maintain and nourish our beautiful lips. ELF has launched one such lip balm as a summer treat for lips.  The important thing is that it’s available for just 2$.  So now, softer, hydrated and colorful lips within our budget, exciting right?? My Take on ELF Essential Lip Balm Tint – Grapefruit:

It’s a sheer, tinted lip balm with beautiful shade options. Texture of this lip balm is like butter, so much creamy and smooth.  It’s easy to apply and comes in a travel-friendly tub.  This balm gives a nice coral shade. Sometimes, I have these white patches on lips that causes irritation, so I started applying this balm daily in the morning and felt that soothing effect.

It instantly softness lips and keeps it hydrated too. This lip balm also has a mild sweet fragrance.  This also contains grape, shea butter and coconut to enhance the quality of lips and to keep them nourished.

The color stays for 1 to 2 hours but the softness remains for 3 to 4 hours.  Overall, it’s a simple lip balm that we can use on a daily basis.
