Confused Because of Your Crease? Here are a Few Tips

crease tips for womenOur this article today will focus on three different types of Eye Crease. Mainly they are differentiated into
  1. Higher crease type
  2. Hooded crease type
  3. Monolid type
Different eye types has different depth of crease and the eye makeup should be such that the Eye Crease is shown properly , if the Eye Crease is not visible then your eye will look more like as if it has no fold. This will make your eyes look flat on your face. So let’s take you into what kind these creases are and the type of shadowing that you can use on them to bring the eyes forth and make eyes look better.

1. Higher crease type

eye crease typesHere the eyes have higher crease, famous celebrities like Jessica Alba and Jennifer Aniston has this type of high crease eyes. The crease is so high that, sometimes the eye sits into the socket and the visibility of brow bone and crease is not entirely clear. Both just coincide sometimes. Mainly Caucasians have this type of creased eye. You can relate to this style as the common Indian Eye Crease style also.

Tips (Shadow application technique):

Let’s say you got three colors two versions of a color of your choice (say brown) and a silver highlighter . So we have a light version of brown, a deep version of  brown and a highlighter silver shadow. Do the lighter version of brown on to whole of the lid. Then do the darker version on to the crease, do not fade upwards into the brow bone. Keep the demarcation alive. Now with the silver high lighter do the brow bone area.

2. Hooded crease

Tips (Shadow application technique) :

Here we need to follow what is called the gradient technique. Say we have three colors, a dark version of black, a lighter greyish version and a silver highlighter. Start off at the lash line to half center in a horizontal way, shade up the lid. Next take the greyish version and do the rest half of the lid in horizontal path. Do not go into the crease. Now again take the darker shade and do the crease and face indo the brow bone area leaving just a little bit below the brow to just show a little bit of brow bone. Use the silver high lighter here. Use liner in a deep manner on the upper lid and in a simple line on the lower rim.

3. Monolid crease

Tips (Shadow application technique) :

Here we follow the same technique as above, the gradient technique with 2 colors and 1 highlighter but here do not go too much into the brow bone with the darker shadow that you are applying. Here leave the brow bone a little more than in the Hooded Type!
