My take on the Boot sEssentials Aloe Vera Gel Moisturiser :
It comes in a green transparent tube packaging. Tube makes it less messy, nature’s essence and other commonly found aloe vera gels come in tubs which are unhygienic to use. The gel is transparent in color and of proper consistency, not runny or too thick. The smell is pleasant, not fruity nor flowery, but nice. The fragrance stays on for a while. The cap is a flip open cap, it looks sturdy, but mine is a little shaky! Maybe because I use it too much.
This gel is a good buy, according to its claim it isn’t sticky at all, some gels when applied are sticky for a few minutes, this one gets absorbed quickly.
This gel is just like our regular moisturizers, I use it as body lotion in summers below my sunscreen.
Note: Few aloe vera gels peel off when topped with makeup or sunscreen. This one won’t. This doesn’t make your skin remarkably soft, but it doesn’t even make it bad. It’s no match to using pure aloe vera gel. This thing just helps keep your skin as it is and provides moisturization in summer/winters. Do not expect it to make skin look better, it does nothing like that. If you want to take a break from your usual body lotions you can opt for this.
