It is time for blush now. It is blush that makes a girl look pretty and charming. The shade of blush reveals your mood and occasion most of the time. I was looking for a subtle golden blush as I do not like sparkling blushes much. I like the colour “châtaigne dorée” which means golden chestnut. The shade is truly according to the name. It is warm golden brown shade with amazing texture and pigmentation.

My Take on Bourjois Little Round Pot Blush No. 10 Châtaigne Dorée:

The fine golden brown blush comes in a cute little jar bearing its company name and shade over the lid. The inner cover of the pot is provided with a round mirror for touch ups. The plastic packing is classy and attractive. It is very much handy and portable. The little lock is convenient and strong. The texture is fine and smooth. It carries a light fragrance but it is not strong enough to bother. The blush comes with an applicator. Although I do not find this applicator very useful as I use my regular blusher brush only but I suppose this brush can be used for touch ups.

The baked powder blush carries some shimmer but it is in very subtle, so it does not give shimmery effect. It is golden brownish colour which will suit almost everyone. The baked fine texture is very easy to apply. Its blending power is superb. The pigmentation is very good. It will appear on your cheeks as it is inside the pot. It gets blended with the cheeks very naturally and does not appear artificial. The colour is daily wear as well as party wear, it truly depends on you how you want to carry it. The lasting power is average. It lasts 3-4 hours normally and 2-3 hours in humid weather. The good thing is it fades evenly and does not leave over shimmery face without the shade. Because of the particular golden chestnut shade, it can be used as a bronzer as well.
