Wohooooo! I am so excited about this particular review because it has a cute story behind it.I always believe when I wish for something very hard, it does happen to me eventually, your small little joys of life, no not dreams of driving a ferrari. 
Coming to this particular product, all my freinds around, in metros were raving about these matte touch lipsticks and there is no Pop-up colorbar store still in Chennai. I had no iea how to try these. I always shop bags full Color bar from Pune when I go there,this time it so happened that on my hubby’s official Pune trip, he made a visit to this mall, handed the phone over to the SA and done! I whispered my secret wish and got more than a couple of these matte touch lipsticks I was so yearning to try and review.

This is also special for me because this is the second time my husband has got some makeup for me, well it was me who told the SA what to hand him, but last time he went to London, I asked him to get eye liners and he order 5 black cake eyeliners online, in place of colored ones! Like 5 black cake liners, I gave one to all my cousins.
Coming to the lipstick, this is another matte lipstick and I kind of started my affair with lipstick with Colorbar matte lipsticks when they were not so bad. So I really wanted to try these, they have 24 shades and I have got three more in store for you to review. My favorite picks! This one is a orange peach shade and it could be a little hard to carry on bad or dull skin days and might be suited to fair skin only.
The texture is okay, I mean its not that creamy that I could sing out loud in praise of it. It is pretty much like other color bar mattes I suppose and nothing that would really melt lusciously on my lips.Still I am happy because ultimately its matte my love!

The color is a bright one, like it does brighten your face up but you really cannot wear it with dull patchy skin, you need to have some base on an if you are fair and young then this could really make your skin glow.The pigmentation is superb, very nice color you get in just one swipe and as you keep swiping it, it feels even softer honestly.
The staying power is good too, count on it to tint your lips for 4-5 hours seriously and it leaves a nice peach tint too. Now the best part is that it does not stain!!!! yes unlike the velvet mattes, this does not stain at all.
The creaminess is no enough to keep your lips supple, it does feel cakey in more than a swipe and it does not keep your lips so moisturized, though the good news for non matte lovers is that it is not that powder matte kind of finish, in two coats it look not so matte, so I think I will stick with two coats.
Over all, they have a nice color collection, great pigmentation, they are soft an not powdery matte, and come in a great packaging, I like them and will be purchasing more,meanwhile I have 3 more in store for you this week 
I have always loved colorbar lipstick, till the new velvet mattes started to stain a hot pink! urgghh, now thank you colorbar for taking the velvet mattes off the shelf and coming out with these pretties, but nothing could beat your very first version of Velvet mattes!
