I have the review of a lip liner for you guys today. I don’t normally invest in lip liners but now after I have joined IMBB I feel like buying a few. But currently I just have 2 lip liners and please don’t laugh guys because I have just started applying lipsticks. I got this lip liner as a gift from my cousin. She got this for me when she had gone to United States. And I loved the fact that she got me an elf lip liner because I love the cute stuff that they sell.

How to use?

Proper lip lining application should be performed prior to adding gloss or lipstick.
Gently shade upper and lower lip (shimming pencil back and forth) until color intensity is desired.
Fill in entire top and bottom lips with pencil.
Apply second coat if desired

My take on ELF Essential Feather Proof Moisturizing Lip Liner-Natural Blush

So I was really happy when I received this from my sister. There are 5 shades in all on their website and I checked them and this was actually the best one among all of them. It comes in a nice pack where some things were written but unfortunately I threw it when I started to use the liner. This cute little pinky baby is accompanied by a sharpener and thank god they gave a sharpener as I did not have any sharpener accept for the stationary lol. It looks like our pencil that we use in daily life to write and it is almost the same size. It comes with a plastic cap so that the product does not get damaged.

The shade is really very cute. It is a nude pink shade that suits almost on every look. It looks really stunning with heavy eye make-up. I use the entire liner on my lips rather than just an outline. The shade looks very natural but may wash out the face at times but it looks nice on me and I quite like it. The liner alone feels dry on the lips and you can’t really apply a lip balm beneath because then it becomes very difficult for the colour to appeal on the lips. But it looks fine with a gloss topped on it. I actually did not know the price of this and I just searched it in order to put it in the review and I was seriously shocked, man just a dollar for this amazing lip pencil and a sharpener along, who would give you a better deal than this?

The only thing I did not like is that while sharpening the pencil due to the soft texture the liner broke and a lot of product got stuck in the sharpener and got stuck to it and you can see this in the picture. It lasts for quite a long time like 5-6 hours but I just sipped on water, did not have any meal but was sipping water after every 30 minutes. Overall I love this pencil and I wanna buy all the shades, if at all elf comes to India or any of my relatives come to India.

-Easy availability to people staying overseas
-Accompanied by a sharpener
-5 shades available
-The shade I got is a very decent colour which goes on almost every outfit
-The lip liner lasts for a like 5-6 hours
-Glides easily when you move it back and forth

Cons of ELF Essential Feather Proof Moisturizing Lip Liner-Natural Blush:

-Not available in India
-Lot of product gets wasted while sharpening
-Lips feel dry if applied without a gloss on top

Will I repurchase/recommend ELF essential feather proof moisturizing lip liner-Natural blush?

Yes I want to buy all the shades and I loved it but due to its non-availability in India I don’t know when am I going to get them and I do recommend this one as it a cute baby with a more cute shade. There are many good pencils in the market as well but I am sure no brand can offer you a good lip pencil at this price.
