Fab India Charcoal Scrub Review

Today I will review the Charcoal Face scrub from Fab India. I just noticed that I have not reviewed anything from Fab India which is surprising because I am quite a fan of their products. I am through with my current VLCC face scrub and I was looking for a decent one and then laid my hands on this.

Packaging:

Comes in regular Fab India tub packaging. The charcoal range has this red-black-white motif design all over which I like. There is a protective lid inside the outer lid which prevents the product from drying up. Quite a simple packaging but I always sanitize my hands before dipping it in the tub. Alternatively an ice-cream spoon can be used to pick up the required amount of product.

Texture:

It is deep grey-black in color. There are mini granules which are meant for the scrubbing. I feel they are too minute to do a full scrub.

My experience with Fab India Charcoal Scrub:

I have picked this up very recently and I must say that I have a love-hate relationship with it. With the charcoal fever all around, I picked this up to check how it performs on my oily to combination skin. It has a distinct lemony smell which is refreshing.

It is mentioned on the pack to moisten the face before applying the pack. I have tried on both moist and dry skin. Honestly I did not find any difference. On moist face the scrub glided better. You can feel the mini granules while applying. You will feel a cooling sensation on application.

This can be used everyday as a mild scrub, but if you are looking for a heavy duty scrub then this is not the best choice in market. This gives instant glow which does not last more than a day. This can be used as a go to scrub, nothing more than that.
