Hey everyone,
Sometime back I was cleaning my cupboard which was sort of in a mess and I found this Himalaya Shampoo lying there. I remember picking this up online some months ago because it read “Free from Parabens, Silicone, SLES”. Let me come down to my experience with it.

My experience with Himalaya Herbals Protein Shampoo Softness and Shine:
As usual I had bought the smallest size of the shampoo to see how it fared on my hair. If ever, a shampoo fares well on my hair, then I go for the bigger bottle. Thank god, I got a smaller bottle of this product. The packaging of the shampoo is a standard Himalaya packaging with white body and green flip cap. It is sturdy and travel friendly. The shampoo is a pale yellow liquid which is on the runny side. It has this mild floral fragrance which stays in the hair for an hour or two after you rinse it off.
The shampoo lathers decently but you need a little more amount to form that rich lather. I have used this on oiled hair as well and it required two washes to remove all the oil from the hair. I noticed that it keeps the scalp fresh for almost 3 days. Going by the claim of the company, I once tried this shampoo without the conditioner and oh my, it made my dry hair look highly damaged. So, it’s definitely not one of those 2-in-1 products for all hair types. When used with the conditioner from Tresemme, it still made my hair appear dry. It was as if it ripped off all the moisture from my hair. So overall, I would say this shampoo is definitely not meant for people with dry hair.
