Inglot Matte Collection AMC Lip Pencil in shade No. 20 Review

So, I recently shopped at Inglot, spending nearly an hour at the store. I was introduced to this brand here on IMBB. Now, the scenario is that every time I visit Inglot, I fall in love with it more than before. I have picked up blushes, lipstick refills and matte lipsticks from Inglot this time. Although, I did not pick up any eye shadow, I was thrilled to see tons of vibrant colors in eye shadow range at the store.  Okay, so coming to today’s product, it is one of the matte lip color pencils from Inglot. Read on to know my overwhelming love for these lipsticks.

My Experience with Inglot Matte Collection AMC Lip Pencil in shade No. 20:

By now, you must have already guessed that I am going to sing the praises of this product, so let us get started. I have recently developed my taste for matte lipsticks and now 90% of my latest lipstick purchases are matte. This one also is a matte one. It comes in a black marker kind of packaging and is classy in appearance. It has a twist kind of mechanism and worry not, it twists back too. Now, I was surprised to see that they deliver a lot of product unlike other twist stick lip colors I have seen.

The picture shows only half the bullet or may be even less than that. I did not twist out the whole bullet fearing it would drop out  , but I must say, if they are charging Rs. 750, they are giving the amount for that price. This lipstick also has a sharpener at the end. For those of you, who would like to use it as a lip liner, can sharpen it using the sharpener.

For me, I only use it as a lipstick, so I do not use the sharpener at all.  The shade is a brick red shade.  I have recently hoarded many reds, but this one is my favourite because it does look over the top for day time in summers too. The other reds I have can only be worn by me on special occasions and not otherwise. This one can be used in daytime too. I recommend this shade to all the age groups.

Coming to the texture, it is smooth enough to apply on the lips without tugging, but after all, it is a matte lipstick, so do not expect a buttery formulation. It stays on my lips for good 4-5 hours without meals. Even if I eat something, it lightens, but does not disappear from my lips completely. I cannot expect a better staying power than this.  Now, the only problem I have with this one is that the bullet is not as thick as that of a regular lipstick and it takes more time to fill in the entire lips. They have kept the thickness somewhere between a lip liner and a lipstick and have provided a sharpener along, so that it serves both the purposes. So, for the ones like me, who intend to use it as a lipstick alone would find it thin. Despite that, I love these lipsticks to the core. I have bought one more shade from this range and that one is even more gorgeous.

• Bullet will appear a bit thin for the ones like me who would only use it as a lipstick.
