Khadi Orange Gel with Honey Face Wash Review

Today I will be reviewing a face-wash from Khadi. This is my first face-wash from Khadi. It is an orange gel with honey. This was love at first sight because of the lovely color and oranges…  

About the product:

An orange and honey based face wash which cleanses the skin and gives nourishment to the skin.

Ingredients:

Each kg contains:CitrusReticulata Blanco 20g, Honey 10ml, RubiaCordifolia 10g, Glycerin 10ml, Base 490ml, Preservative 2.5g & Purified Water to make one kilogram.

Price: Rs.65 for 100ml

My Experience with KhadiOrange Gel with Honey Face Wash:

The face wash comes in a transparent plastic bottle with a flip-top cap. The gel is orange in color, transparent with mild fragrance and consistence is neither runny nor thick. Though it says orange face wash I did find any traces of orange fragrance in it. I had ordered a smaller version just to try how it works on my skin. So this 100 ml bottle is pretty compact and is easy to carry around.

The consistency is very thick gel like and the gel is of deep orange color. I totally love it and it really intrigues one to use it. But the moment you open the bottle first you smell bubblegum but within 2-3 seconds it starts smelling like soap or detergent. Oranges are nowhere in the picture. I expected a nice tangy citrusy smell. Such a big disappointment.

Anyhow coming to its cleansing properties, it lathers decently but not much. This shows that this has less chemicals. It cleanses my face well removing all the dirt and grime effectively. It makes my skin a bit dry after washing. So might not be suitable for dry skinned beauties.

• Easy to carry around
• Lathers decently
• Cleanses well
• Affordable

Cons of Khadi Orange Gel with Honey Face Wash:

 Smells really bad.
 Might not be suitable for dry skin.
 Not sure whether it is 100% natural.
