My experience with Lakme Clean Up Fresh Fairness Face Mask:

I got all the three products from Lakme Fresh Fairness Clean Up range the moment this range launched with the sole purpose of reviewing it. Somehow, it always happens with me that I am never able to review such products on time. This time also I couldn’t be the first one to review face wash and scrub from this range, though both these products are lying in my cupboard since a month and have already been half finished by me. Finally, I decided to review atleast one of these before it becomes too late. :-P

Lakme Clean Up Fresh Fairness Face Mask comes in a pretty, girly, light pink packaging with attractive silver bands in it. It is definitely travel friendly and leak proof. The packaging is quite light, so it can be easily carried in handbag. I use it after scrubbing my face and use it twice a week. The face mask is white in color and has chalky touch to it.

I apply it over my wet face. It spreads evenly and easily on the entire face and doesn’t feel sticky at all. It takes about 10 minutes to dry. It gets removed very easily and doesn’t require any extra effort while rinsing with water. It doesn’t leave any oily or sticky residue behind. I don’t think this mask does something extraordinary to my skin. It removes tan slightly and gives a bright look to my face but still doesn’t give me that clean up look.

It doesn’t make my skin very stretchy after use but still, I prefer to apply a moisturiser after using it. It removes oil from my face completely and keeps it matte for longer times than before. It doesn’t have any effect on acne and tan. Since it claims fairness, I think it’s important to mention that I didn’t notice any such effect with it. I would say that it is a good mask for routine use but it doesn’t give any extraordinary results. The scrub and facewash are much better than the mask, according to me.

• I expected better results from this mask.
• Removal of tan and the brightness effects isn’t something extraordinary or drastic.
• No effect on acne.

Will I repurchase/ do I recommend?

No. I think there are better masks and packs available in the market than this. In fact, the face mask of clean up variant, you know the one which has red packaging, is better than this.
