Lakme Enrich Satin Lipstick 131: Swatches & Review

Work wear worthy lipstick is what I have nicknamed this baby. The Lakme satin enrich lipstick 131 is my newly acquired MLBB..a nice subtle,  matte pastel pink-nude on me. This has warm undertones which works out great for my color. It is a nice shade, very subtle and simples..but well sometimes (like most days at my workplace!) we all need to tone down our lippies and go with MLBB lip colors.So this is my new new work time favorite!

Wear Time – I get about 2 hours wear time after which it fades, so definitely needs improvement
Pigmentation  – Quite good. One to two swipes is all you need
Finish - It is a satin finish one from Lakme.
Texture – Not very moisturizing. I need lipbalm or gloss with this. Though it could be the winters and this might fare better during the summer months.

The packaging is very Lakme- unglamorous and very unlike the Absolute packaging. It reminds me of Aunty lipsticks, from which I would turnaway before one can blink..but this shade looked promising in the swatch that I saw at the online retail portal where I bought it from. (Truth – I had to buy stuff worth 200 more rupees to qualify for free shipping). So despite the ugly packaging I thought of giving this a chance..ahh well inner beauty anyone? I am pretty superficial in this regard and packaging is VERY important to me so this was purely price driven purchase. But overall I am not complaining and I have been carrying this to work ever since I bought it.

Recommendation: The Lakm Enrich Satin Lipstick is a muted , dusty pink that works really well as an everyday , pretty, work wear shade. The formula definitely needs tweaks in the longevity and moisture departments, but at the price they are, theres no harm in trying a couple !
