Lakme Enrich Satin Lipstick No. 144 Review

I am back. Hope you people are doing great. It’s rainy heavily in Kolkata which is a great relief from the scorching summer heat but for some reasons I don’t enjoy the monsoons that much, apart from the fact that I get to wear bright colors during this season, don’t you? 

Now, without further ado, let me come straight to the point. I am sure everyone here is well acquainted with Lakme Enrich Satin range of lipsticks. So, it does not need an introduction. Well, a few days back Lakme Enrich Satin launched 26 new shades, all of which are drool-worthy. So, I got this shade number 144 and I am simply loving it!

My Experience with Lakme Enrich Satin Lipstick No. 144:

The packaging of the lipstick is nothing out of this world. Its plastic, maroon colored cover is very boring. It clicks shuts, which is very handy though.

As you can see from the above pictures, shade 144 is a beautiful nude, white-based pink shade. It has got very little shimmer which does not appear on the surface until the lipstick catches some light, giving your lips very elegant sheen. These kinds of shades are so very appropriate for day wear. (I am sure what you must be thinking now. That this girl is obsessed when it comes to pinks.  Well, guilty as charged people!)

I love the fact that it’s very creamy and moisturizing and has very little sweet fragrance. It glides perfectly on my lips and it is a well-pigmented color. Its satin finish is true to the word. It does take a wee bit of time while settling properly on the lips, but I am happy to ignore that.

But I doubt whether this shade will be able to cover darker lips. That’s a basic problem of such kind of colors and I think that it will wash out wheatish to rich brown complexions. That’s a con. Also, it’s not very long lasting, maximum 2-3 hours, but that’s very typical in case of nude shades. It does settle into fine lines because it’s very creamy, but considering that it’s such a lovely shade, I couldn’t care less.

Cons of Lakme Enrich Satin Lipstick No. 144:

• Will wash out darker complexions.
• Cannot cover pigmented lips.
• Does not have a list of ingredients.
• Settles into fine lines.

Apart from this, I think that the lipstick has amazing color and a must try for those who can pull this shade off.

Yes, if you have fair complexion and you feel you can carry it off.

Will I Repurchase Lakme Enrich Satin Lipstick No. 144?

May be not this particular shade because I want to try out rest of the 25 colors.
