My Take on Nature’s Essence Neem and Aloe Vera Shampoo:

The shampoo is an ordinary one which is basically for oily hair. I have an oily scalp but dry hair, so after washing my hair with this, my hair went wild, though I felt nicely cleaned up scalp. So, next time I knew the trick. I would use it when I had applied a lot of oil in the hair and it worked well.
So, yeah, it does cleanse properly, but take a little more amount and your hair would be unruly. But I think this is the case with all aloe vera shampoos. I always find aloe vera drying in nature. Like I said, it works best for oily hair.
Now, comes the complaint part. The shampoo claims to be “natural.” This has become such a war zone these days. Every company and every product vies to be natural at the cost of losing credibility, just like this one. It has a shelf life of 36 months which is almost impossible to achieve without chemically derived preservatives and if you use chemical based preservatives, you are not natural. So, had it mentioned its complete ingredients list, I would have been fine with it.

Forest Essentials which is a premium brand and makes some awesome products does not give shelf life of more than 12 months to its products because it uses natural ingredients. I used the famous naturally made Krya detergent, which is a very good initiate by Krya company, I saw that it got fungus in 6 months. Why? Because it was fully natural. So, I doubt how come this survives 36 months without getting rotten.
Anyway, apart from this, all seems fine. The smell is okay. It does not use a perfume which I can believe because it does not carry a fragrance, cleanses hair properly but can make hair frizzy if used on dry hair.
The consistency is of a normal shampoo, in fact, it is a little thinner, you can see the shampoo dripping from the bottle. One bottle of this size, this was 60 ml, gives out around 6-8 washes. Since it has a slight runny consistency, you tend to use a bit more of the product.
I also see that it is priced competitively and then it does not offer anything new or over the edge. So, I would call it an average shampoo.
Over all recommendation: You may try it if you have oily hair, otherwise just skip it. I have dry hair, so I am going to skip it and would not repurchase it.
