My experience with Organic Surge Shine Boost Shampoo:
I really like the packaging of OS shampoos. The transparent tube packaging is a great idea. Plus I feel it looks prettier and kind of non-conventional, as most shampoos we try come in bottles. Moving on, the consistency of the shampoo is kind of thin and watery. It is a clear liquid and has a very mild fragrance of essential oils. I would point out the smell of grapefruit and lemon on the higher side. You need to slather it on to your scalp as soon as you take it out of the tube or else it would flow out of your palm.
Now this shampoo lathers really well. We don’t expect organic shampoos to lather so much but this one does! As I reviewed about the blonde boost shampoo, you need only a moderate amount of the product for single usage and this tube should last a pretty long time.
It cleanses the hair and scalp well. I would give a special mention to the fact that, if you have oil in your hair, this does not need a second wash. It removes the oil effectively. Even if you use it on un-oiled hair, it won’t really dry out your hair. I find this is a really great quality.
Now it does impart some shine to hair, but hey! I wasn’t looking for a shampoo to make my hair mirror shiny. Also I find this does not tangle up you hair like some shampoos do. So yes, I have thoroughly enjoyed using this shampoo and it did a great job considering it an organic shampoo. This tube lasted me for 2 months and I wash my hair every alternate day.
