Rimmel London 3 in 1 Powder Blush – Summer Fever

Hi girls,
This is the last product I picked up from Rimmel London in my online shopping haul. I have already reviewed the other variant from this range of blushes, the other variant was Spring Flower while this one is the Summer Fever. I like the names of these blushes.

So having picked up a variant with a trio of beautiful pink shades, I decided to also get one in more subtle tones just to make sure I had something for daily wear and to add to my newly started collection of blushes of course. Rati’s posts of blushes have got me going crazzzyyy with lust for blushes. m0447 Rimmel London 3 in 1 Powder Blush Summer Fever
I really hope I learn the tight tricks to use these blushes.

About Rimmel London 3in1 Powder Blush-Summer Fever:
This variant, ‘Summer Fever’ is a trio with three subtle shades. I don’t exactly know how to range these shades but can only term them as subtle and earthy tones. This as well comes along with a little applicator which I don’t really use, I have put it away to clean my mobile phone when it accumulates dust. LOL. Could not think of anything better.
This variant is a mix of shades which I absolutely love because these are really toned down warm shades and are perfect for daily wear.

My experience with Rimmel London 3in1 Powder Blush- Summer Fever:

Like I already mentioned in my previous review of the ‘Spring Flower’ blush, I am wheatish in complexion and also because I am not a pro at carrying blushes yet, I am not too comfortable to have bright tones on my cheeks yet. Hence I opted for this one as well in my haul. And I must say I am quite happy with this blush because it gives me just what I need, a warm flush of colour on my cheeks which not OTT at all and does not make me conscious too. But one has to be very careful while picking up the right amount of these shades on the brush and also while blending these shades else you might end up looking like you got punched and bruised.

Another difference I have noted with this variant is that the two shades on the two extremes are crazy matte when compared to the one in the middle and also the darkest shade of the three is not as pigmented as it looks in the pan, you can see that in the swatch.

The three shades of Summer Fever are (L-R),
1. A super matte warm peachy shade
2. A shimmery brownish-pink shade (gosh!!!….I feel so dumb when it comes to explaining colours)
3. A super matte earthy brown shade.

Pros of Rimmel London 3in1 Powder Blush-Summer Fever:

1. Lovely earthy shades.
2. Blending well can result in desired colour.
3. Good staying power.
4. Affordable for beginners to experiment.
