Rimmel London Exaggerate Waterproof Eye Definer - 230 Deep Ocean Review

For a makeup enthusiast like me it is like a boon when a new make up brand comes to city and you get to explore it. Though so many brands are available online these days still it is a pleasure to touch and check the products before getting something.

On my recent trip to the mall I checked the Rimmel counter and mainly I focused on lip and eye pencils. I had been eyeing the pencils with smudger from Rimmel and I picked the shade Deep Ocean.

Packaging:

It has a plastic body pencil with two ends. On one end is the blue twist up liner and on the other is a smudge tip. Both ends are secured. A transparent cap which snugly fits but do not click shut on the smudger end. The smudger tip has a black plastic base which opens up to a sharpener. The body is navy blue in color just to indicate the shade of the liner. On the body all other minute details are mentioned along-with the shade name and brand name.

Texture:

Quite a creamy pencil in twist up form. Glides on easily without tugging the lid. The formula is interesting, you can smudge immediately after application, but after it is set it does not move a bit. Am impressed that it stands tall to its claim of being waterproof. I might as well say that it is face wash proof. You need a proper makeup remover to get rid of this.

My Experience with Rimmel London-Exaggerate Waterproof Eye Definer 230 – Deep Ocean:

I had been eyeing the pencils from Rimmel with smudge tip and I liked this particular blue after swatching all the available colors. My Faces navy blue shade is running low so I had to get a back up of that. I decided to pick this instead.

On comparison I found this is brighter compared to the Faces pencil. Those who like their pencil tips to be really sharp the sharpener might come handy. Surprisingly the SA had no clue about the sharpener at the bottom of the smudger.

With the monsoons on, the waterproof eye pencil is coming handy and I am wearing colored eye pencils a lot to pep up the gloomy days. This instantly brightens up the eyes which is an added advantage.
