Rimmel London Lasting Finish Lipstick – Burning Desire

I have been quite busy at office and missed IMBB terribly. I kept reading reviews everyday but couldn’t find time to write one. Today I promised myself to write one. I am glad I did. Time to get into the review. It is the lipstick of lasting finish range from Rimmel London. The name “burning desire”is quite odd and intriguing. Isn’t it?

My Take on Rimmel London Lasting Finish Lipstick – Burning Desire:

The product comes in a dark body with silver twist up bullet. The packing is quite sturdy for travelling. The texture of the product is lightweight and comfortable to wear. This lipstick is medium pigmented and need to layer the product to get the color of the lipstick in the tube on to lips. Though the product needs to be layered, I didn’t feel the lipstick heavy. It did cover my pigmentation in 2 to 3 swipes. It provides a nice sheen to the lips. It is not drying at the same time doesn’t moisturize the lips. It doesn’t provide a buttery application. It is not dragging at the same time. The lipstick stayed for around 2 hours without fading after which it starts fading. It is definitely not a long lasting lipstick as it claims.

Cons of Rimmel London Lasting Finish Lipstick – Burning Desire:

• Not long lasting.
• Doesn’t fade evenly and gets deposited in the corners of the lips.

This is an average lipstick in all the area but I like the shade. If you like the shade, you can give this a try without burninga hole in the pocket.
