Hi girls! I am a regular reader of IMBB and no doubt it is the best beauty and makeup review site in India I am so very excited as It is my first review on IMBB or anywhere else for that matter I hope you guys like it. I am reviewing Shiseido White Lucent Intensive Spot Targeting Serum+. Honestly I do not believe in ”whitening” products, I feel they are completely bogus, marketing hypes and no doubt very racist. But I do believe in ”brightening” claims of a product because some products do brighten up the skin. The one I am reviewing is a 9ml sample size ‘spot targeting’ serum by Shiseido. I got it free as a bonus and it is the one and only high end product I own (yes! haha).
Shiseido has an entire range of the white lucent line which consists of softener, cleanser, moisturizer etc. I have read rave reviews about this certain product so I would like to say that it might work on you, honestly, what does not work on me might work on you and what does not work on you might work on me, so I would not say this is a bad product at all. Someone with dark spots might benefit from this with prolonged usage.

My experience with Shiseido White Lucent Intensive Spot Targeting Serum+
The 9ml sample comes in a pretty lilac/light purple color packaging which has a metallic sheen to it, looks very pretty. It has a pump dispenser which is great however the cap is not sturdy and the pump spills a very little amount of the product on the cap everytime you take out some serum. It does have a very faint floral smell in it but that’s not bothersome at all. I Have combination skin that is more oily in the summers. The serum has a fluid like consistency which is very light and would suit even very oily skin types. It does not make me greasy at all like moisturizers do in this heat. I need only 1 pump for face. Honestly I do not have any spots as such that I can claim it’s efficiency but I do have uneven skin tone and a very light spot.
I use this serum twice daily after washing my face and toning. I sometimes might follow up with a moisturizer but generally do not. So it has been a month since I am using it and it is almost finished, honestly I have not seen any improvement, it is just like a very lightweight moisturizer, it did not help with my uneven tone much, there is a very slight improvement but nothing like they claim ”stubborn dark spots will be gone in 10 days”. If you like serums, give this a try.
