Tips & Toes Starburst Lip Lustre: Fleur Review

Hello all you wonderful people. Hope you are doing well. I am ever thankful for all your lovely comments in my last review Tips & Toes Starburst Lustre Cider.

Remember I told you in my last review that I will be back soon with another lipstick from this range? Well, here I am, and this time it’s called Fleur. Surprisingly, this is one of my favorite shades that I am talking about. It’s so strange na that both the lipsticks though from the same range turned out to be so different?

This was actually the first lipstick that I had bought from Tips & Toes starburst range, and I must say that I am very satisfied with the product. This range has a wide variety of shades, some with shimmers and some without it. The fact is, the ones without the shimmers are of much better quality than the ones with them. There is a hell and heaven difference between the textures of both the kinds of lipsticks. I really don’t know why that is. So, my suggestion is, if you do invest in these lipsticks, buy the solid-colored ones. These are really good in terms of the price that you will have to pay.

My Experience with Tips & Toes Starburst Lustre Fleur:

Firstly, the packaging is same, it’s cheap. Its golden colored plastic packaging is not very sturdy, I must say. But it’s ok, considering the price and the color of the lipstick. They don’t provide a list of ingredients though. The color is actually amazing with a capital A.  It is basically peachy, nude-ish color, with very subtle orange-ish undertones. The color is appropriate for day wear and for office purposes. But I feel one can also wear it during the night time, pairing it with Ssokey eyes. It will look wonderful. Trust me, I have tried it.

It’s very creamy and just one application is all it takes to get the right amount of color. The pigmentation is flawless; it will cover tanned lips in a jiffy. And it’s so very moisturizing. I am in love with this shade and since the day I have bought it, I have worn almost every day. So much so that it’s already kind of used up.

However, the lipstick transfers a wee bit, but it’s not something that worries me. But the main problem with these ranges of lipsticks is that, they tend to break off from the base, no matter how carefully you use it. This is really a turn off, don’t you think? And it’s not very long-lasting also. Max 2 hrs I would say. So you have got to re-apply. But that’s ok with me; it’s not expensive at all.

Pros of Tips & Toes Starburst Lustre Fleur:

• Inexpensive.
• Availability.
• Awesomely well pigmented color.
• Will suit most Indian complexions.
• Moisturizing and creamy.
• Effortless application.
• Does not settle into fine lines.

Cons of Tips & Toes Starburst Lustre Fleur:

• The packaging is not very impressive.
• Very soft and Not very handy, the lipstick tends to break.
• Not long lasting enough.
• List of ingredients not mentioned.
Apart from these cons stated above, I found no other.

Do I recommend Tips & Toes Starburst Lustre Fleur?
Absolutely YES! This shade is beautiful and I am sure that if you buy it, you will fall in love with it too.

Will I Repurchase Tips & Toes Starburst Lustre Fleur?
Yes. The one that I have will be finished within this month, so I am buying the second one. Also I will buy other shades from this range, obviously the non-sparkly ones.BB Rating:
