Move over Clinique, Revlon & Lakme and make way for Victoria Secrets Glossy Lip Tint Sheen! Its the newest entrant in the ’Çhubby Stick’ market and no, they haven’t launched in India yet but these are quite popular abroad. All these chubby sticks look like cute, adorable crayons which are hydrating and have a glossy finish but they do more or less what tinted lip balms do right? However when you get one as a gift who could say no!

My Views
Love, love the crayon like packaging with the tube reflecting the actual shade and a transparent cap. Knockout Red is a gorgeous Raspberry red-pink color and will suit most skin tones. It is perfect for girls who likes wearing reds but do not wear bright bold colors often. It is that subtle red that can be worn to work as well- like a nice, beautiful stain. Knockout Red is decently pigmented and can be worn sheer and is buildable to medium intensity. Texture is amazing, super soft, glides & spreads effortlessly, almost feels silky (not buttery-greasy) on the lips. Victoria Secret’s Lip Tint is hydrating and moisturising and soothes your dry/chapped lips.
Its high glossiness is one of the reasons I reach for this often as I am not a fan of sticky-sticky lip glosses but I want/like to have that high shine finish. And though this has high shine finish it is completely shimmer free. Staying power is low, about 2 hours of wear time and it does leave a light stain which lasts for couple of hours. Overall I can say, VS Lip Tint has replaced by tinted lip balm which I like to carry in my bag.

Recommendation: I have only one thing to say, if you despise lip glosses for their sticky texture but still lust for a glossy finish then do give these chubby sticks a chance. Victoria’s Secret Glossy Lip Tint Sheen in Knockout Red is an absolutely smashing color and now I really wish Victoria Secret soon launches their makeup range in India!
