Today I will be sharing my views on a gentle daily exfoliating scrub by VLCC. I recently finished my huge tub of St Ives apricot scrub (my HG scrub for all purposes)and so I thought of trying something new. After reading good reviews about VLCC scrub, I bought this Pineapple & Papaya variant. Read on to know more about this product.

Product Info: Specially formulated for Normal to Oily skin, this scrub exfoliates dead skin cells and deeply embedded impurities to make the skin cleansed and purified. Enhanced with effective cleansing properties, Pineapple removes dirt, accumulated oils and exfoliates dead skin layers. It also controls excess oil secretions while maintaining skin’s natural moisture balance. Papaya clears freckles leaving skin feeling smooth and refreshed.

Directions for use: Scrub gently for 5-7 minutes with fingertips in a circular motion on wet face and neck avoiding areas around eyes and mouth. Rinse off and pat dry gently. Use 2-3 times a week. For optimal results, use in combination with Alphine Mint & Tea Tree Gentle Refreshing Face Wash and Orange & Waterlily Peel Off Mask.

My Experience with VLCC Pineapple & Papaya Gentle Exfoliating Scrub Review

This scrub is best suited for normal to oily skin, so this was a perfect choice for me as my skin becomes oily in summer. The scrub comes in a huge tube with a flip open cap(literally a huge tube). It is a great value for your buck. This scrub is very thick in consistency and is very creamy.The color of the scrub is soft pink and it has got very fine granules & the fragrance is very pleasant and fruity.

I only take a small nickel sized dollop and it is sufficient as it spreads easily. The granules are very mild and not at all harsh on the skin even if I massage it for long. So it is a perfect everyday scrub. It exfoliates really well and unclogs the pores well. It makes my skin cleaner and brighter and makes it able to breathe. It does not leave my skin greasy or oily.

Overall I am satisfied with this product and it definitely does what it claims to. But nothing beats my St. Ives Scrub. :-P
