Yardley London Morning Dew Refreshing Body Spray Review

So here goes my review for Yardley Morning Dew Deodorant , the last one in the newly launched series. This one is slightly different from the other two. Please read on further to find my stint with this deodorant.

Yardley is one of the oldest cosmetic companies and I am amazed that despite changing their signature packaging which is a long slender deodorant can they still are able to compete with the most fancy looking products in the market. This deodorant is no exception , it is a long cylindrical can with a spray nozzle. It has beautiful lavender coloured outer body. The colour seems extremely soothing to the eyes. The plastic cap shuts tightly hence the deodorant can be carried while travelling.

My take on Yardley London Morning Dew Refreshing Body Spray:

Having described the packaging above, it would be apt to start with the fragrance. The lavender colour and delicate flowers on the face of it truly justify the fragrance. It is such a fresh fragrance that at whatever point of time I spray it , i feel mesmerised. It does smell of lily and lotus. The frargrance is more of musky than floral. You feel invigorated, awake and refreshed for 2 hours or so. The only drawback is that it needs to be reapplied often as the staying power is not great. Though it does not stay for a long time yet a fresh aroma lingers for 3-4 hours. It is a delicate fragrance and very feminine. More suitable for girls in their 20’s wont really recommend it for ladies Also, amazingly this deodorant did not sting me even after direct application on the skin. Though I am totally enchanted by the fragrance yet I can not rule out the presence of harmful ingredients in it.

Summarising the pros and cons,

Pros of Yardley London Morning Dew Refreshing Body Spray:

1. Enamouring fragrance which rejuvenates you at any point of time you spray.
2. Affordable.
3. Beautiful and travel friendly packaging.
4. Does not sting the underarm even if applied directly on the skin.

Cons of Yardley London Morning Dew Refreshing Body Spray:

1. Contains high amount of alcohol.
2. Staying power is not appreciable just 2 hours or so.
3. False claims of freshness and fragrance lingering from morning through the day.

Will I recommend/ repurchase Yardley London Morning Dew Refreshing Body Spray?

I quite liked the fragrance, it is not the same as my usual floral deo’s so I would definitely buy again. You may buy it if you like delicate, feminine musky fragrances.
