6 Easy and Effective Ways to Get Thick Hair

Thick hair, as we all know, is a boon. Although not all of us are blessed with it, there are strategies you can employ to get fuller hair. These remedies are natural, easy and 100% effective.

1. Essential  oils.
Essential oils works wonder for thickening hair. Sesame oil, Mustard oil, Lavender oil and Sunflower oil are a few oils which are easily available in  the market. Other oils like chamomile, thyme, rosemary, geranium and cedar wood are also beneficial.




2. Make a hair masque.
Take some curd and add 3 tbsp aloe vera gel to it. Add sesame/lavender oil,  a little olive oil, crushed fenugreek seeds, a spoon full henna powder, a spoon full amla powder,1 avocado and enriched coconut oil. Apply directly on your hair and keep it for 30 minutes. Rinse off.

3. Be gentle with your hair. Avoid styling tools like blow dryer, curling irons, etc. Make sure you use a good shampoo, preferably one which is sulphate-free or a volumising shampoo. Ripping your wet hair leads to split ends and hair fall. Avoid using conditioners as they effect the volume of your hair.

4. If you have dandruff/ hair fall/ split ends, get rid of them. Get your hair trimmed as it will help you getting rid of split ends and add some bounce to your hair. Use lemon oil in case of dandruff. Amla oil and a strengthening shampoo can help hair fall. Manage your stress as it is a major cause for hair fall.

5. Mix coconut oil and lavender/sesame oil and massage in your hair for 10-20 minutes. Wrap a hot towel around your head.

6. Eat a balanced diet. Include fresh vegetables and fruits,nuts,fish and other protein and vitamin E rich foods in your diet.
