Black eyes are just so beautiful! And here is the best part, when you have back eyes there is no limit to the colours you can pick to use on them! No restrictions, no boundaries! You can play around all you want.
In today’s article, we touch upon two traditional but very different looks.

Things you need
- Sponge applicator – preferably 4 different ones or two with double tips.
- Black eye charcoal eye shadow
- Grey eye shadow
- Silver eye shadow
- Eye-liner (black –liquid)
- Eye liner-black in pencil form
- Mascara
- Lash curler
- False lashes too (only if you desire)
This is very easy and even the novice can do it.
Start off by priming the lid. Use concealer for covering any under eye dark circles. Blend in foundation for a smooth flawless coverage.
Apply the charcoal eye shadow on to the centre fading at the ear side exterior but ending in a closed jacket form.
Smudge the shadow with another clean applicator.
Do the crease with the grey shadow.
Use the silver shadow on to the brow bone and the nose-eye junction.
Use the pencil liner for the lower rim. You may use this for the upper lid lash line too if you are not comfortable with a liquid liner.
Line upper rim in a thin form with the liquid liner.
Wear false lashes if you want to. Coat the lashes with a heavy mascara coating.
Curl up the lashes with a lash curler.
Final Look
And you’re good to set the night aflame!

Things you need
Dark charcoal eye shadow
Silver eye shadow
Light pink eye shadow
Dark peach/pink/apricot eye shadow
Sponge applicator -4 tip of 4 applicators with single tips or 2 with double heads.
Eye liner in black – Liquid
Eye liner in pencil –Black
Mascara
False lashes (if you desire)
Prime the eye lids. Use a concealer for dark circles and blend in foundation for a smooth finish.
Use the charcoal or black shadow on to the centre of the lid and fading into a tail at the exterior.
Use with another applicator the dark pink or peach or apricot shade on to the crease.
Use the light pink eye shadow on to the area just above the crease area but not on to the brow bone. Use this colour below the lower rim too.
Use the silver shadow with the sponge applicator on to the brow bone and on to the junction of the nose and eye.
Apply liquid liner on the upper lid thinly.
Use the pencil liner on to the lower rim. For extra effect you can use white liner on the lower rim.
You may use false lashes.
Use mascara to coat your lashes.
Use mascara to coat your lashes.
Curl up the lashes with an eye lash curler.
Final Look
You are good to go for the day!
