Anna Andre Deluxe Crème Lipstick Shade – No 40202

 I was shopping online some time back and spotted this Anna Andre Deluxe Crème Lipstick in shade 40202 and thought of giving it a try. I liked the retractable pencil form of this lippie and immediately added it to my cart. I did not have much expectations and I just wanted to try a new brand and a new shade of lippie. Read on to know whether it is worth the money.

What the product claims:

The Deluxe Creme Lipsticks from Anna Andre, Paris are a dream to carry and apply. This moisture enriched product ensures that the color stays true on your lips and doesn’t feather or fade for hours!

Rs. 220 for 1.9g

Ingredients:

Hydrogenated Coco glycerides, Copemicia Cerifera (Camauba) Wax, Paraffinum Liquidum, Cera Microcrystallina (Microcrystalline wax), Lanolin, Silica, BHA, Methylparaben, CI 77491, CI 42053, CI 77492, CI 77510, CI 77019.

My experience with Anna Andre Deluxe Crème Lipstick Shade No. 40202:

The lipstick comes in a retractable pencil form with a transparent cap. The packaging seems to be travel friendly but to my disappointment it was not. The cap came out easily and the lipstick spoiled some of the contents in my bag. Anyhow, the shade is a beautiful pink with mauve undertones. The lipstick does not have shimmer particles and does not accentuate the fine lines nor does it settle in between them. It is very moisturizing and does not dry out the lips.

The lipstick spreads evenly and covers slightly pigmented lips but you might need to swipe it more than twice. The texture is smooth and creamy and feels very light on the lips. The finish of the lippie is slightly frosty. It lasts on my lips for about 4 hours and even survives a meal though the color fades off a bit. However, it transfers to cups, spoons and everything. Also, one has to scrub the lips before applying this or the application will a little patchy and uneven. I think this shade will look beautiful on all skin tones.

If you don’t mind the cons above then you can surely try this. The quality is pretty decent for the price we pay. However, it is not a must have lippie.
