As I told you in my last article that I am going to review a few lip products from my mum’s vanity. So, here comes the second best lip gloss from her collection, i.e., Rimmel Moisture Renew Lip Gloss in SOS Red. This is the silkiest, most moisturizing, and non-sticky lip gloss I have ever tried. Its beautiful shimmer is subtle and shiny and gives your lips a young plump look.

My Take on Rimmel Moisture Renew Lip Gloss in SOS Red:

It comes in a standard lipgloss packaging that is in the form of a plastic tube with a doe foot applicator. Color is easily visible through the bottle.Lipgloss doesn’t have any fragrance.

The color is a Red. Gloss is bit shimmery but not at all over board.Proper pigmentation. Color is easily visible when applied on lips. Consistency is not at all thick.

The staying power is decent. I had light meals and it lasted for 3-4 hours on my lips. Even after that, it gave a nice red tinge that looked natural.The best part of this lip-gloss is that it has SPF   . I don’t have any lipstick or gloss that has SPF. It also has Vitamin A,C & E. I don’t like shimmer in my lipsticks but here the shimmer is not over the top and gives a nice healthy glow to the lips.

The color is all opaque and easily covers any pigmentation of the lips. The color is simply visible on single swatch. This shade cannot be used in the day time or for office and colleges. It can also be used over lipsticks to get a nice glow.

The applicator glides smoothly on the lips and applies the gloss evenly. I found the gloss to be moisturizing. There is no stickiness. There is no need of applying a lip balm beneath it. The shimmer is not at all gritty. This gloss stays on my lips for 3-4 hours with light meals. I would love to try other shades from this range.
