I enter my best friend’s elder sister’s mehndi ceremony. Instantly, i  like the lip color shade that the bride’s friend is wearing. Im hooked to it, im staring at it like an obsessed freak and i dont care whether she thinks im a lunatic…I want to know what she is wearing..What is it? How do I find out? Shall I ask her? What do I do???And then there…finally she takes out the lip color  from her purse and applies it over her lips…it’s the CHAMBOR GLITZY GLOSS.. and like some mad woman i  squeeze in to get a closer look at the number, thats 643 woohoo!!! Mission Accomplished. Now I gotta buy that quick…and I bought it that day itself.

I feel so blessed that I found this beautiful color. All thanks to the girl who was wearing it that day. !

Texture & Color: The best thing about the gloss is its intense pigmentation. It is creamy, opaque and has no shimmer at all. Its difficult to believe that a lip gloss can give such  brilliant pigmentation, but this is definitely one of the more pigmented glosses in the market . A single swipe is enough to give your lips  opaque coverage and its buildable too. I have dry lips which become super dry on applying lip glosses or lipsticks so I always put on  a balm before applying any lip color but with this lip gloss I don’t have to apply any balm. It is moisturizing. It has a very pleasant coconutty smell.

Coming to the color, I love the fusty pink tone of this gloss. It compliments most Indian skin tones with  its warm plummy pink color. Its great for day wear and also for night outs – it could improve in the lasting department. This gloss gives a wear time of about 3 hours, with a light snack but you will find it doesn’t hold up very well with full meals. But honestly, which lipgloss does?

Packaging: The lip gloss comes in a very sleek and compact tube. It is transparent and the plastic has a  glass like finish. I love the way ‘CHAMBOR’ and ‘GLITZY GLOSS’ is written on the tube. There is a steel finished rim over the mouth of the tube and the cap is dark navy blue in color with the CHAMBOR logo on the top. The applicator is the sponge tip applicator which is convenient and hassle free

Pros:

2. Smooth and creamy texture.

3. Single swipe gives a very nice opaque coverage.

4. Shimmer free yet has a  sheen.

5. Moisturizing.

6. It comes in a very sleek, attractive tube.

7. The sponge applicator is nice to work with.

8. The shade 643 intense will be a perfect lip color for most of us.

9. Coconutty fragrance is nice and mild.

Cons:

1. The price seems a bit too high

2. I found the mouth of the tube quite messy after few uses.

Final verdict: Chambor won my heart with this glitzy gloss which has an amazing color payoff, and is creamy and smooth. It truly gives a finish made of pure solid color, and the beautiful dusty rose pink is very flattering on indian skin tones
