I thought I had seen all of Elizabeth Arden’s “Eigh Hour” series, but no, last time when I stopped by their counter, they showed me this hand cream, which I had missed checking out all the previous times. Elizabeth Arden is such a raved-about brand among celebrities, I want to try more from them. By the way, I am running all the Elizabeth Arden and Clinique products through cosmetic calculator and I think you should do the same, don’t let people sell you expired products at exorbitant prices. The last hand cream/lotion I had used was Vaseline Hand and Nail Lotion and it was a dud for me. After that, I haven’t tried anything at all for hands particularly. Getting on with the review:

My Take on Elizabeth Arden Eight Hour Cream Intensive Moisturizing Hand Treatment:
I love the fragrance of this cream – it smells of some wild flower – some flower like marigold, strong but not sweet. The hand cream comes in a small tube and its size is such that you can carry it in the smallest of your handbags. The cream is white in colour. The texture is rich, creamy, and spreads nicely onto the hands without any efforts. A pea-sized amount is required for each hand (not the whole hand, only till the wrist).
The hand cream absorbs quickly into the skin (within seconds) without leaving any trace. There is no oily texture, no stickiness. It leaves the beautiful fragrance which I so love. It clears out dry and rough patches on the hands and moisturizes well. My hands remain moisturized for a long time, not for 8 hours, but quite a few hours. Once you wash your hands, you need to apply again obviously. I so wish they make a face cream like this which keeps the skin moisturized without leaving any residue behind. I am completely happy with this hand cream, the only issue being the price which is Rs. 500 for 30 ml. I apply it overnight on my hands and wake up with smooth and moisturized hands. This is the best hand cream I have tried and those who don’t like their hand creams to leave any sticky feeling behind, should try this.
