Faces Lip Pencil Bordeaux Review

Well, this is my first post and I am quite happy about it.  I was wanting to write for the blog from the last 6 months but studies were keeping me really busy, so now that my exams are over, I can give my sufficient time to it.

My Experience with Faces Lip Pencil in Bordeaux:

I have been using lot of lip pencils lately, but some smudged on my lips and was not at all long lasting. I was in search of a nice lip pencil.  I thought of trying Faces lip pencils.  Well, this is my first lip pencil from Faces and now after using this, I am thinking about getting more.

Left : I have blended it with MAC Lip Gloss Love Child.

Middle: I have blended with Lakme Absolute Matte Matte Lip Color in Milan Red.

It’s a beautiful color in pinkish-purplish tone. In fact, it goes with most of the lipsticks I use. It is highly pigmented and I need not go over the lips again and again.  It just glides on my lips and defines them so well.  The texture is not at all dry, it is creamy and smooth. I use it as a base and then apply lip gloss to make the gloss stay for long.  It makes my lipstick stay longer without smudging all over and can be used on the eyes as well, one pencil and 100 miracles.  The pencil needs to be sharpened to get a pointed tip and a normal lip pencil sharpener can be used.

It’s in a pencil form and I am quite happy as I do not like using twist-up pencils, they break from the tip easily (it always happens with me at least). The packaging is quite sleek and nice.
