Well, this time I am back with a face pack. Being the fussy person that I am, I really despise using them, but mommy dearest forces me to *cry* But nonetheless, at least it gave me something to review.

Method of Use:
Apply a thin layer evenly all over face and neck. Leave on for 30 minutes and then wash thoroughly with plain water.

Packaging:
The facial comes in a sturdy plastic container with a lid to prevent wastage. It is sturdy and utilitarian, but wins no points for style. It can be transported easily, as the package is neither bulky nor leaky. The outer package is a simple gold and green cardboard slide out cover. While it is fairly good looking, it can be disposed off without any regrets, once you start using the pack.
My Take on Jovees Gold 24 Carat Face Pack:
The first thing you notice about this product is it’s luminescent orange gel, which looks like something Sigourey Weaver would use in her “Alien” movies. It smells like oranges and is easy to apply though it makes you look like Casper for half an hour. I have combination skin, along with fine lines around my eyes and mild dark circles.

Once I remove the pack, my skin is left hydrated (not oily at all) and tightened. It really does work, but the effects last for about an hour or two, at best, after which my lines come back with a bang, but its good while it lasts. Apparently, it contains gold leaves, but despite the certificate of authenticity, I am skeptical.
Pros of Jovees Gold 24 Carat Face Pack:
- It’s fragrant without being overpowering.
- The pack never really dries, it remains in gel form and doesn’t stretch your skin like normal packs do.
- Leaves your skin soft and supple.
- Temporary reduction in fine lines.
- Travel safe packaging.
- Doesn’t cause breakouts.
Cons of Jovees Gold 24 Carat Face Pack:
- For 100 grams of product, it’s a bit on the expensive side.
- Full ingredient list is not mentioned which, in my book is, an immediate red flag.
- All benefits are exceedingly fleeting, last for 1-2 hours at most.
- May be a little too emollient for oily skinned beauties.
Would I Repurchase Jovees Gold 24 Carat Face Pack?
Me? Hell no! But my mom probably will -.-

Sure, if they have combination or dry skin.
