Lakme Pop Tints Swatches & Preview (Full Review will Come Soon)
I FINALLY managed to get my hands on these elusive Lakme Pop Tints . I say elusive, because women in India seem to have gone a bit wonky with these pop tints, they are sold out freaking everywhere !! It’s like women are having one big party with these crayon pencils and i can see why. On first impressions, im loving these- they are like chubby pencils with great pigmentation (one-two swipes to opaque), they are super smooth in application and give a nice, semi glossy finish. Perfect for summer !! Full, detailed review to follow soon but for now enjoy swatches of two popular shades of Lakme Pop Tints!

You would think that the market is now over flooded with chubby crayons, but i still feel like there is a gap in the market which these Pop Tints fill in. Cliniques Chubby Sticks are more or less just balms, Revlon Just Bitten are more like stains, Colorbar Take me as i am lip colors are the only competition in this pigmented category, and since Lakme decided to make these glossy and not satin or mattes, these have got a slight bit of an edge for summer. Summer= dewy makeup and glossy lips according to me !
These retail for a price of INR 800 which is pretttttyyy high considering these come from Lakme, but i guess they have kind of jumped on the chubby crayon bandwagon and since everyone seems to be pricing their crayons like a high end brand, Lakme followed suit..which is dissapointing. Give me some time till i test out the wear, but for those who really wanna try it out quickly, i definitely like these in terms of first impression!
