Lóreal Paris L’or Sunset Collection Glitter Nail Polishes
If you were Catwoman and stealthily climbing up a building to steal your next piece of jewellery, then the Lóreal Paris Color Riche Le Vernis from the Sunset Collection would be the LAST thing you would want on your nails. Because by no means can you disguise these cuties- they are full on , *dhinchak* *dhinchak* glitter to blind you from a mile !!! Not a great idea for a stealthy jewel thief to be sporting hexagonal glitters haan? But since i don’t plan on climbing any buildings yet, these glitter polishes are totally welcome on my nails !! Plus im Punjabi you see, bling is in my genes!
The Colors
There are 6 glitter polishes in this collection and i have three of these in my stash. These are:
Copper Cuff : Clear Base polish with gold sparkles and copper heaxogonal glitters
Lór Amethyst : Dull purple base, with gold microshimmer
Flaming Sunset: Black base with gold hexagonal glitter and gold specks
(I went to buy Riviere Amethyst and Bronze Parure but they were already sold out!)

My favourite has to be Flaming Sunset- im not even a black nail polish girl but the contrast of the gold glitter against the black is totally mesmerising!! Copper cuff is nice as well, but copper polishes remind me of kitty party aunties so that’s not my scene personally (Hey , no offence to kitty parties ok…just saying). Lór Amethyst is just a regular dull purple polish with gold shimmer. It doesn’t have the hexagonal glitters of the other two so it isnt so unique.
You know whats annoying me- That Loreal Introduced glitter polishes with hexagonal glitters and they didnt do it in any fun colors. Hot Pink with gold glitter? Turquoise with purple glitter? Mint green with silver glitter? GIMME!
The Texture
These polishes are two coats to opaque (Copper Cuff has a clear base so that will take you three), but in terms of texture they are pretty average. They are thin, so theyr not gloopy for sure and they apply smoothly but the wear time is just about 2 days. They chip very easily and obviously being glitter polishes, they are a pain to remove.

Price: Rs 235/-
Recommendation: Out of this bunch, i only like the Loreal Paris Flaming Sunset Color Riche (Black with Gold Glitter). The other two are skippable according to me, but check out the others from this range-Bronze Parure and Amethyst Riviera look stunning but were sold out so couldnt get my hands on them. Ofcourse all of these are gorgeous to look at with the hexagonal glitters but they just don’t hold up over time. Chipping happens pretty quickly. Im just annoyed that Loreal didnt come up with some gorgeous hot pinks and turquoises and greens with these hexagonal glitters. I would have bought everything.
