I am always hunting for the perfect concealer for my under eye dark circles. I have tried the MAC studio sculpt which is thick in consistency and wanted to try a runny variety which is easier to blend. So I thought about trying out this concealer from Loreal- The Loreal True Match Super Blendable Concealer!
I bought the shade Neutral (N4-5) for light/medium complexion which was recommended by the SA and I think I should have bought a darker shade. It looks slightly ashy on me when i first wear it but settles into a more natural finish over the day. I should mention here that I have a severe case of dark circles – so it is not opaque enough on me. I think it would fare better with girls who has less problematic under eye dark circles. It works much much better if I wanted to cover up blemishes though. So I have mixed feelings on this.
I have been super happy with their tinted sunscreen and was hoping that this will be as good. But for me the experience has been okay. Below are the Pros and Cons for you girls so that you can decide whether you want to buy it.
Pros of Loreal True Match Concealer
- Easily blendable
- Does not settle into lines
- Average coverage – good for light to medium coverage
Cons of Loreal True Match Concealer
- Does not give proper coverage to my dark circles
- Looks a little ashy in the beginning, though it could because I have chosen a lighter shade
Rating – B
Price: Rs 795/-
Overall Recommendation - Loreal true match is a runny concealer, which is easy to blend. The coverage is medium and wear time is about 5 hours on my normal to oily skin. It doesnt do much on my very dark under eye circles but works quite well for blemishes. Will I repurchase – Probably not. I need higher coverage for my dark circles.
