Yeah, I am on an eye makeup spree. Today’s, review is about a very special product. It is Maybelline Master Drama Kohl Liner in the shade Ultra Black. I asked one of my friends to get me some products from US and this was a part of that hamper. I was fascinated by the word “Master Drama,” which is indeed very dramatic. As I have said befor – a girl can never ever have enough black liners or kajal. This is the 9th black liner I have got

I find the packaging of this liner very classy with master drama written in curved handwriting on the pack. The shade name is also written on the pack. It’s a sharpen-able black classy pencil.

My Take on Maybelline Master Drama Kohl Liner – Ultra Black:
I wanted this pencil because of the intriguing name it had. I have always loved dramatic eyes and that is why wanted to try this. The pencil is very classy. The texture of the liner is very smooth, creamy and soft. The claim to stay for 16 hours is partly true as I used this on my waterline in the morning and removed it after some 11 hours and it was as good as new at that time.
The liner glides like a dream and the pigmentation is to die for. It’s a pure matte black shade which works wonderfully as a liner and kajal both and stays throughout the day. The liner is waterproof and smudge proof. I did not experience any discomfort on my waterline after using this. Overall, this pencil goes into my HG black kajal list along with Kryolan gel liner pencils although they are way cheaper than this. Also, one more problem is that it is not available in India. In one word – “amazing pencil.” Maybelline should now launch these amazing formula products in India as now India is not behind any of the other countries as far as makeup is concerned :p

Overall, the formula is to-die-for and the staying power is great. If you like intense black kohl on your waterline which does not budge, you should try this.
