Organic Surge First Class Mask Review

Organic Surge First Class Mask
Guest Review  (Medium Skin tone, Combination skin)
We all love that deep-down cleansed feeling. Don’t we!!But achieving that is a pain. We smother our face in gunk (called masks, usually in some disgusting color) then sit there while it slowly hardens and you become unable to move your face. Ugh! Then there’s the washing off, which takes ages and leaves you with cloudy eyes, a scummy sink and messy towels if you don’t get every last chalky bit off your face before you dry.Luckily, Organic Surge have done something a bit different with their First Class Face Mask.
What the company claims:
First Class Face Mask deep-cleanses and nourishes to give dull or dehydrated skin an instant boost. Skin-calming chamomile and soothing marshmallow deep-cleanse and nourish while natural oils and plant extracts give the skin a valuable burst of moisture. The non-drying, rinse-off mask works quickly to leave the skin clean, clear and revitalized.
Ingredients: Aqua, Glycerin (veg), Cetearyl Alcohol/PEG-20 Stearate (vegetable based), Stearic Acid, Glyceryl Stearate, Dimethicone, Cetearyl Alcohol (vegetable derived), Prunus Amygdalus Dulcis (nut oil), PEG-7 Glyceryl Cocoate (derived from coconut oil), Sunfloweramidopropyl Trimethyl (sunflower oil derived), Ammonium Chloride PEG-8 Dimethicone Succinate, Anthemis Nobilis (natural plant extract), Althaea Officinalis, Aloe Barbadensis, Citrus Bergamia, Citrus Limonum, Citrus Aurantifolia, Citrus Aurantium Dulcis, Cymbopogon Martinii, Rosmarinus Officinalis, Phenoxyethenol, Tocopherol, Citral, Geraniol, Linomene, Linalool.
Use it this way:Smooth over your face and leave for 5 minutes, then rinse off. Gently dry skin with a warm towel. Use weekly, or whenever skin needs a quick brightness boost.
My view
As per the Organic Surge website, the First Class Mask is supposed to deep cleanse, nourish, and rehydrate ; also detox and renew skin leaving it ‘smooth and glowing with health’..hmm! Aren’t we all a little skeptical about one product promising too many things? I know I am. So not believing on all the claims, I bought this mask, while shopping when I got married, because I thought after my wedding it’ll be difficult to put on a mask and sit for half an hour, and then struggling to get it off, to get a cleansed skin so this quick fix seeemed apt. And yes, it did prove out to be a nice buy. Please note, that mine is a combination skin which is more on the drier side in winters. My skin really does feel smoother everytime I use this and because it sits on my skin like a lotion, (as its consistency is somewhere between a cream and a gel) it does feel hydrated, absolutely no dryness. Whenever I have to get ready for a party or a wedding, I like to do a quick mask with this product, and foundation seems to adhere better after this.
I’m not sure if I feel detoxed or renewed,  but.. what does that feel like anyway?

The Pros of Organic surge First Class Mask:
•Doesn’t feels like a mask. it feels like moisturizer. sometimes i forgot it was a mask and left it on my face for longer than the instructions
•My Combination/sensitive skin feels soft and nourished afterwards.
•Love the smell. it’s so soothing! Good for those with sensitive nose.
•The product is dispensed via a pump. So, more hygienic, and you get only the quantity required.
•Paraben free.
The Bad points:
•Can’t think of any, except the fact it is a bit pricey.

Verdict: A-
Price: Rs 660 for 50 ml
Recommendation: The Organic Surge First Class Mask is a great mask for those with dry/ combination skin who need a quick dose of nourishment in the winter times. If regular deep cleansing masks dry your skin out, then Organic Surge will definitely not dissapoint. It deep cleanses, smoothens and moisturizes at the same time.
