Now it is enough about the lipsticks. Now I think I should break the monotony for a while. Hence, today I will review Rimmel’s soft kohl kajal in green shimmer. It is soft creamy green colour kohl with shimmer.

My Take on Rimmel London Soft Kohl Kajal – Green Shimmer:

Although I am not very fond of shimmery kajal or liners but I heard so much about these pencils that I thought to give them a try. It is green shimmery coloured pencil with its logo and name imprinted at the other end. The price is also affordable. The colour of the kohl and pencil is same. It is lighter than the Rimmel’s shade Jungle Green. The product is soft and creamy and swipes easily over water line. The pigmentation is good. It also looks good when used as an eye liner. Its light shimmery green colour and gives radiance to the eyes. The staying power is also decent. It stays for 4-5 hours. It fades evenly leaving its shimmer behind. They are not water proof pencils because with the sweat, they start fading. In extreme weather, they do not smudge badly but start fading. Since they are soft creamy pencils, they need to be carefully sharpened. Even if you sharpen very carefully, some product will definitely go waste. So, product wastage is a problem.

Since the texture is creamy, it can be easily smudged for eye makeup. More you swipe more intense the colour becomes. So, it serves the purpose of liner, eye shadow and kajal. Since there are very limited shades of kajal available at this price, it is a nice pick at this affordable price. Since it does not irritate eyes it can easily be used on water lines. It cannot be compared with other kohl pencils obviously, but you can give them a try.
