Happy Monsoon dearies
Well today, I am going to review TBS Eye Definer in Black, so scroll down to know how this product worked for me. TBS is my one of the favourite brands for skin care range; it’s like one of the addictive food for my body. I seriously love it, so after getting addicted to its skin care range, I wanted to try its makeup products, so this pretty basic black eye definer turned out to be my first purchase.

My Take on The Body Shop Eye Definer Shade in Black:
I was super duper excited for this product; firstly it was from Body Shop and secondly, I got it for 50% off *hihi*. Well, I clicked its pictures first and then took all the covers off and swiped it on my upper eye lash as I was off for a family dinner. I was super sad after 15 minutes I was barely able to see a feeble line crawling on my upper lash, I don’t know where the liner went
The shade is intense and dark matte black, and that’s how I like my black liners to be, no shine, no glitter. It is a pencil liner and you have to swipe it 3-4 times to get the expected colour and then you lose that pigmentation soon enough. The shade is dark black.
Soft crayon easily glides on lashes, but does not give enough pigmentation in one swipe. My eyelids are oily, not much, but yes they are, but once I put eye shadow and wear my liner, they tend to stay there, but in this case, even the powdered eye shadow did not work. The picture I had clicked just after putting the eye makeup, I have used it on my upper and lower lash. I did not try it on my waterline as it does not say so and moreover I prefer kajals on my waterline. I did not experience any kind of itching or irritation as I truly rely on the ingredients TBS puts in its products, but I was seriously disheartened by this product from its makeup range.
Pros of The Body Shop Eye Definer Shade in Black:
- Ingredients.
- Deep black color.
- Soft stick, easy to apply.
- Travel-safe packaging.
Cons of The Body Shop Eye Definer Shade in Black:
- Poor pigmentation.
- Expensive (for such pigmentation).
- Staying power.
Would I Repurchase The Body Shop Eye Definer Shade in Black?
I am so happy with my Maybelline Gel liner, that I don’t even look for other pencil or liquid liners, so for this one it is a plain NO.
Do I Recommend The Body Shop Eye Definer Shade in Black?
No, please opt for gel liner or if you still want to indulge in pencil liners, this one should not be your pick *nonono*.
