The Body Shop Ultra-Fine Bath Lily in Olive Green

Today I will be reviewing a bathing accessory, a body loofah from The Body Shop. Body loofahs/sponges are inevitable to have a rich bathing experience. Read on to know about this loofah.

How to use: Cover lily in a small amount of shower gel and lather into body in circular movements.

My Experience with The Body Shop Ultra-Fine Bath Lily in Olive Green

First of all let me tell all of you guys that this was the first time when I bought such an expensive body loofah. I always used to buy such loofahs and sponges from a local cosmetic shop but when I saw this at TBS store, I somehow got tempted to buy this one. They come in all sorts of lovely bright colours and the one I have at the moment is olive color. I love to use it with my TBS olive shower gel  :P . The Body Shop Ultra Fine Bath Lily is a fine mesh lily that can be used to lather shower creams and gels onto the body.

Body Shop bath lilies have little balls of gathered netting with a thin coloured piece of ribbon attached to the top so that you can hang them up in the bath or shower to dry off after you use them. I just rinse mine out under fresh running water after I have used it and then I hang it up by its ribbon to dry off naturally. I also like the fact that these loofahs do not retain the smell of the original shower gel you have used.

It is very soft and fine and is never scratchy so it will not leave your skin feeling sore or red. It works with every single cleanser or soap that you have, and forms an amazing lather, plus it’s easy to clean and store. This loofah has a mild exfoliating action. But I like my loofahs to be a bit harsh on my skin, I guess.

 Not very harsh on skin.
 Can be used with all types of shower creams/gels.
 Mildly exfoliates skin.
 Easy to clean and store.
 Do not retain the smell of the original shower gel used.

Cons of The Body Shop Ultra-Fine Bath Lily in Olive Green :

Very expensive for a loofah.
