Tips and Toes Extenso Mascara Review

I know I have given enough excuses of work last time for being MIA, and the excuses this time  remain same. Yes, my schedules are pretty hectic now days. So to recharge myself at end of the day I pamper myself with some online retail therapy. No, I don’t buy things everyday, but I make my wish list and fill my cart and save it on different sites everyday and sometimes I proceed to payment and buy them as well. Mostly to make my buy eligible for free shipping I end up adding more products to my cart than I intend to. So this mascara is also part of one such online haul I did some time back. I was looking for a daily use, water proof mascara and that is when I found the extenso mascara from Tips & toes.

My experience with Tips & Toes Extenso Mascara:

It comes in a slanting black tube which reminds me of Lakme eyeconic mascara. The wand is long and the brush is big, which makes the application of mascara easy. It brings out required amount of product for single time use but the tip of the applicator at times brings more product with it which I have to clean on the tube. On my lashes it looks quite natural looking black, neither glossy nor very matte. It holds the lashes and gives a bit of volume and lengthens them. It never feels stretchy or heavy on my lashes but if I apply more than 3 coats then it feels hard and clumpy.. However I used 3 coats  just for experiment purpose, 2 coats are more than enough for giving nice length to lashes, on regular day to day usgae, I use only one coat as I don’t like my long lashes touching my specs  (yes I wear one at work). It is water-proof which is a must-have for monsoons. It also says that it has shelf life of 24 months, not sure if I will use it that long. I try to change my mascara in every 6-8 month, and that is what is suggested too.

Final verdict on Tips & Toes Extenso Mascara:

Looking for a daily wear, waterproof mascara which can give you long lashes then go for this one. If volume is what you are looking for, look for some alternatives.
