I am glad you liked my first review.  Today, I am back with another product and it’s Victoria’s Secret Fantasies Sparkling Citrus Body Butter in Luscious Crush. As the summers have become milder after the scorching heat, I thought it would be nice to review a good body moisturiser, so I am here with it.

Victoria’s Secret as you know is a very well-known lingerie brand and they sell beauty products as well and they belong to the same parent company that owns Bath and Body Works. Victoria’s Secret beauty section has a huge range of skin care products and this is one of them. You can buy these online as well as from exclusive stores, I have learnt that they ship to other countries as well, but charge a ridiculous shipping charge. You can also get limited range of these products on some leading online beauty sites in India.

My Experience with Victoria’s Secret Sparkling Citrus Body Butter in Luscious Crush:

I have a lot of experience with different brands of body butters and I have come to the conclusion that all have different textures and consistencies.  I have used TBS, BBW, VS and also other lesser known brands and some Indian natural skin care brands as well. The moral of all that trial and error was – you get what you pay for. This body butter from Victoria’s Secret is among the ones I love as it never gets oily even on hot summer days. Since all body butters are in tubs, this too is no different, so you can use a plastic spoon to scoop it out and having the inner protective lid is very good during travels to avoid spills.

The smell of this body butter is very close to orange soufflé or the BR orange ice cream, it’s indeed a very foodie and delicious scent, you would feel like eating this and the colour of the butter is peachy pink and the consistency too is like a soufflé. You need a little bit, but even if you use a generous amount, you won’t regret as it’s not at all oily or sticky as I found TBS to be. The smell stays for 2-3 hours, but if you pair it with the shower gel and mist from the same range, it will remain on you for longer, but it’s a very mild, so it can be used by those who have sensitive noses too.

The skin drinks the body butter and the results are even better if you exfoliate before using it, that’s the secret to baby soft skin and the effects stays with you even after the day is over.  I am in love with it as I have very dry skin.
