Yardley Secret Crush Refreshing Body Spray Review

Hi beautiful ladies,
Today I am going to review the second deodorant in the series of newly launched deo’s by Yardley. I am getting my parcel in bits and pieces, I received this parcel yesterday with a whole lot of other goodies which I had bought still the third deodorant from the new range is yet to arrive. Anyways moving on to the product in hand, I would say Yardley secret crush is my latest love. Please read on further to find out about my experience.

Like all Yardley deo’s , this one also comes in a long slender can with a lemon coloured plastic cap which fits in tightly. I quite like the vintage(y) look to it. On the face of it, it looks like a sunny refreshing deo, very apt for summers. It has a delicate picture of amber flowers on it and lemon colour makes it all the more appealing during the scorching heat. Packaging is travel friendly and non messy.

My take on the Yardley Secret Crush Refreshing Body Spray:

I am actually in love with its fragrance, its fresh and floral. Very true to its claim of invigorating all day long.. The fragrance easily stays for 4 plus hours and even after that the faint aroma lingers on for some time. The fragrance is more floral and more stronger than Yardley Charming Princess. Those who like mild fragrances should stay away from this one.The initial fragrance may seem a bit loud but settles soon after that. This deodorant also stings the underarm area badly, no wonder it has 96% alchohol content. Though I have been applying it on the clothes still whatever little seeps in stings badly. It does not leave any marks on the cloth.It does not control the sweat but neither does it claim to do so.

Summarising the pros and cons:

Pros of Yardley Secret Crush Refreshing Body Spray:

1. Strong floral fragrance which keeps you mesmerized.
2. The staying power is 4 hours plus which I find to be good.
3. Travel friendly packaging. The colours used are also very refreshing/soothing to the eyes.

Cons of Yardley Secret Crush Refreshing Body Spray:

1. It stings the underarm area. However I tried it on the cloth and it was much better though whatever little seeped in also burnt on me.
2. Contains 97% alchohol. Definitely not for people who have sensitive skin.
Will I repurchase/ recommend Yardley Secret Crush Refreshing Body Spray?

Going by the alcohol content and its tendency to sting I may not recommend but I Loved the floral fragrance and being a die hard floral ( print/fragrance ) lover I would definitely keep a can with me.
